Brokers form new retail-focused commercial real estate firm

(austin busines journal) - Three former Yancey-Hausman & Associates brokers have formed their own commercial realty company and are jumping into the market by providing leasing services for a planned North Austin retail project.

Tom Pagel, along with Shannon Diaz and Laura Coffin, launced Reliance Commercial Realty at the beginning of this year. All three provided leasing and sales services with Yancey-Hausman, and will offer those same services with Reliance, focusing on retail shopping center owners and retail tenants, Pagel said.

Pagel also worked as a vice president at the Trammell Crow Co. in Houston in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, where he directed a leasing and management team.
