Residential Real Estate: Prominent speakers on affordable housing set for May 11 breakfast
(North Bay Business Journal) - A leadership breakfast on May 11 will kick off the annual Affordable Housing Week in Sonoma County.
The Sonoma County Housing Coalition and the Task Force on Homelessness, along with other organizations in the area, are hosting and planning the events.
The theme of the breakfast will be “Today’s Housing: Environmental Challenges and Opportunities.”
Key speakers are Erik Sten, Julie Spezia and Paul Fassinger.
Mr. Sten is the president and cofounder of Further Development LLC. Mr. Sten was recently selected as an inaugural Living Cities Distinguished Urban Fellow and served as a City Commissioner in Portland, Ore., from 1996 to 2008. In Portland, he led the city’s nationally recognized work in housing and community development.
